What is Ecofabulous????
A clean, sustainable, vegan, plant-based product, designed for Gen Z and Zillennial (younger Millennial). Currently offers skincare products with a robust collection of complexion and color cosmetics in sustainable packaging at an accessible price point.
As a visionary leader within a dynamic team of 25 people, I led the creation of captivating visuals that defined our brand across various platforms. From crafting a brand style guide and identity to designing stunning packaging, web interfaces, emails, event collateral, and persuasive advertising materials, I left no stone unturned in shaping our brand's visual presence.
Beyond design mastery, I also served as a mentor to both junior and senior graphic designers, nurturing their talents and guiding them toward excellence.

RESEARCH & UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM
Conducted comprehensive User research to understand the target audience's preferences, behavior, and pain points related to purchasing cosmetics online. Gather insights through surveys, interviews, and competitor analysis to define customer pain points.
After listening to our target audience, we discovered the following top frustrations:

Complex Navigation: Users find it challenging to navigate through the website due to a cluttered layout, inconsistent labeling, and lack of clear categorization. This results in a frustrating browsing experience and prevents users from easily finding the desired products.

Overwhelming Product Selection: The extensive range of skincare products overwhelms users, making it difficult for them to identify the best options for their specific needs. This leads to decision fatigue, confusion, and hesitancy to make a purchase.

Limited Personalization: The current website lacks personalized recommendations based on users' skin types, concerns, and preferences. As a result, users have to manually search for suitable products, which is time-consuming and hampers the personalized shopping experience.

Complicated Checkout Process: Users encounter obstacles during the checkout process, such as long forms, unclear payment options, and a lack of transparent shipping information. This causes frustration and cart abandonment, resulting in lost sales opportunities.

DEFINING THE PROBLEM STATEMENT
Most E-commerce websites lack intuitive navigation, personalized recommendations, and seamless checkout. As a result, users often struggle to find suitable products, feel overwhelmed with choices, and encounter difficulties during the purchasing process. This leads to high bounce rates, low conversion rates, abandoned carts, and decreased customer loyalty.
THE PRODUCT VISION
After conducting in-depth user research to uncover the preferences, behaviors, and pain points of our target audience, Gen Z, regarding online cosmetic purchases, we have gained valuable insights through surveys, interviews, and competitor analysis. These insights have guided us to focus on four key areas that will shape our design decisions:
